One of Grove’s greatest strengths is their ability to deliver projects within a confined geographic region, commonly in densely populated areas. This was on display at the Sydney Road Community School Project located in the heart of Brunswick.

Comprising of a three-storey classroom facility, Sydney Road Community School pushed the bounds of modular construction. However, Grove’s experience operating in congested CBD towns ensured a successful project delivery.

Operating within tight traffic conditions and dense pedestrian flow, Grove’s inhouse project management and transport teams needed to produce a unique solution to deliver this project. With swift delivery and minimal disruption to local residents, Grove was able to install all 17 modules over two days.

With the aid of Groves’ skilful truck drivers, a 240T crane, and some creative modular design/engineering, we were able to successfully complete the build for the commencement of the 2023 school year.

The Principals at Sydney Road Community School were extremely happy with the look and functionality of their new school, condensed into a three-storey modular building. The building consists of a woodshop, music room, recording studio, fully equipped science room, art room, VCE classrooms as well as an ergonomically designed chicken coop and a lift for easy access and egress.
