Grove Group strengthens partnership with McLaughlin

The Grove Group has today announced a strengthened partnership with frontrunning Supercars driver Scott McLaughlin.

McLaughlin, now a two-time Supercars champion and reigning Bathurst 1000 winner has been a part of the Grove Group for over 5 years in his official capacity as Brand Ambassador.

Today’s announcement strengthens this relationship for a further 3 years.

Grove branding will continue to feature prominently on McLaughlin’s race suit and helmet, while the strengthened partnership will also see the release of a regular column from McLaughlin.

Named ‘Scott’s Corner’, the exclusive column for the Grove Group will take us behind the scenes on a race weekend with McLaughlin and provide insight into his world.

Debuting the Ford Mustang with DJR Team Penske in 2019, McLaughlin became the winningest driver in Supercars history taking 18 race wins, 16 pole positions, 18 fastest laps, and 20 podiums.

He also became the first driver to complete the Darwin Triple Crown and won the Bathurst 1000 with co-driver Alexandre Prémat.

“It’s fantastic to extend our partnership moving forward, Scott has been a tremendous asset for the Group over the last 5 years,” said Grove Group founder and Executive Chairman Stephen Grove.

“His humility and sportsmanship embody everything the Grove Group stands for, bringing a level of quality and integrity to everything he does.

“With this renewed partnership the Grove Group will look to provide better insights and opportunities to sponsors and employees alike, bringing them behind the scenes to show the inner workings of Scott and DJR Team Penske.”

McLaughlin added: “Stephen and Brenton have been massive backers of my career, supporting me just after I broke into the Supercars championship.

“I love being able to represent the brand they have created over the past 25 years, providing brand awareness and corporate opportunities for their valued clients and employees.

“They have a strong history of supporting young talent both in Motorsport and within their business and without this support, it would be hard for young individuals to get a start in their chosen field.”
