Hire Grove Expands NSW Operations with New Penrith Site 1 September, 2026 All News Grove is continuing to expand its presence in New South Wales, with plans progressing for a new 9,595m² site at Nepean Business Park in Penrith. Located just 6.5km from Grove Hire’s existing Emu Plains depot and opposite the Sydney International Regatta Centre, the new site will provide additional space and capacity to support Grove’s growing operations across NSW. The site forms part of the recently completed Nepean Business Park, a development spanning more than 45 hectares on a former extraction quarry site. Early civil works are currently underway, including fencing, driveway construction, crushed rock hardstand and stormwater drainage. These works are expected to be completed in September 2026, preparing the site for the next stage of development. Plans for the new facility include a 1,000m² factory equipped with a 10-tonne overhead crane, alongside a 240m² single-storey office and 21-space car park. The factory and office have been designed with precast concrete panels and a portal frame structure, with the site masterplan also allowing for the factory to be extended to the rear boundary in the future. This will provide Grove with the flexibility to increase capacity as its NSW operations continue to grow. A multidisciplinary design team, including planning consultants, architects, civil designers and services engineers, has been engaged to progress the development through the planning stage. A Development Application for the new factory and office is being lodged with Penrith City Council, with approval anticipated in late 2026. Subject to approval, construction is planned to commence in 2027. The new Penrith site represents another step in Grove’s continued investment in its NSW operations and will provide the infrastructure required to support future growth across the business.
