Construct Sod Turn Marks Start of Milleara Gardens Kindergarten 20 July, 2026 All News Construction is underway on the new Milleara Gardens Kindergarten, with Grove officially marking the start of the project at a sod turn ceremony attended by The Hon. Ben Carroll MP, Member for Niddrie, Deputy Premier of Victoria and Minister for Education, alongside representatives from the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) and other project stakeholders. The new 99-place early learning facility will provide a modern, purpose-built modular environment that supports the growing needs of local children and families. Early works commenced on site on 8 July, with the modular building scheduled to be installed over two days in August. The project is expected to be completed by the end of October. Being delivered for the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA), Milleara Gardens Kindergarten highlights the speed and efficiency of Grove’s end-to-end modular delivery model. From design and off-site manufacturing through to installation, civil works and landscaping, Grove is managing every stage of the project to ensure a streamlined delivery and high-quality outcome. Modular construction enables essential education infrastructure to be delivered faster while maintaining quality, minimising on-site disruption and providing certainty for project stakeholders. As construction progresses, the new kindergarten will become another important addition to Victoria’s growing network of modern early learning facilities, creating a welcoming space where children can learn, play and thrive. Further project milestones to be shared in the coming months.
