Cardinia Shire Council Sporting Pavilion – Progress Update

2 March, 2026

All News

A major new community asset is taking shape for Cardinia Shire Council, with the delivery of a purpose-built, two-level modular sporting pavilion designed to support local clubs, volunteers and community groups for years to come.

This contemporary facility demonstrates how precision off-site construction can deliver large-scale, high-quality infrastructure efficiently – without compromising on design, durability or functionality.

Structure Taking Shape

With 36 modules, including five pop-up roof modules, the two-level, 1,300m² pavilion will come together on site in March, with delivery and installation scheduled across just five days.

This critical installation phase will showcase the scale, coordination and efficiency of modern modular construction, as the building footprint and upper-level structure are rapidly established.

The ground floor will soon house:
  • Two player changerooms with showers and amenities
  • Two umpire rooms
  • Public amenities
  • Kiosk/kitchen
  • First aid room
  • High-ceiling scout hall
  • Dedicated scout facilities with kitchen, storage and amenities
Upstairs, the first floor will feature:
  • Venture den
  • Timekeepers room
  • Club amenities
  • Kitchen
  • Meeting room
  • Covered external balcony overlooking the grounds

The Power of Precision Off-Site Construction

This stage of the project highlights the benefits of modular construction – reduced on-site disruption, improved quality control, and significantly accelerated timelines.

We look forward to delivering a high-quality, inclusive and multi-purpose facility that will serve local sporting clubs, volunteers and the broader community for years to come.

Stay tuned as the Cardinia Shire Council Sporting Pavilion continues to come to life.
